Joel Wilkinson - Assistant Director

Mr. Joel, from the Conroe area, has taught tap dancing at studios in Montgomery County and Brazos County since 1998. A Texas A&M graduate with a degree in Agronomy, Mr. Joel is married with a 5 year old son and a 1 year old baby girl. He is also a business consultant and a professional balloon artist. While he has some experience in most disciplines of dance, his passion and expertise is tap dancing. He has appeared in numerous musicals at The Crighton Theater in Conroe, always as “the featured dancer”, including The Music Man, Brigadoon, Red Hot and Blue, A Little Off Broadway I & II. Mr. Joel competed regionally and nationally while a dance student and now enjoys preparing his students for competition as well. While he encourages students to perfect their tap technique and compete, he reminds them that “Success is a journey, not a destination.”
